KEA needs help from our Educators around classroom management and working with students dealing with traumatic situations.    Specifically:   Teachers or ESP’s (especially bus drivers, paraeducators, & custodial staff).      KEA is working to create additional supports and resources for educators in classroom management and classroom environment with a trauma informed lens.  We need your expertise to help identify, design, and create this work.  In addition, we need your help to delivering this content to Kentucky Educators.       KEA will host an informational meeting for those members interested in this work. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 5:30 EST/4:30CST   PLEASE BE SURE YOU MEET ALL THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA PRIOR TO ENROLLING IN THIS INFORMATIONAL MEETING:    Who Qualifies:  Teachers or ESP’s (especially bus drivers, paraeducators, & custodial staff).    MUST: Be an active KEA member in good standing Currently working in a KY school district. This training is for SBDM who have previously served on a school SBDM Council.  Training will target issues for council members to continue to increase their capacity to improve student achievement.  The training will have opportunities to address specific needs of participants.
