THIS COURSE IS INTENDED FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ATTAINED THEIR NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATION. This training is presented by the Kentucky Education Association in conjunction with the Kentucky National Board Network. The training uses materials and training suggestions adapted from The National Board for Professional Teaching. The Kentucky Education Association has converted our popular course: Ethics for Educators into an asynchronous version for educators to complete on an as needed basis. This course should take approximately three (3) hours to fully complete and you will be asked to submit your work at the end for verification and approval. This course reviews ethics as defined by the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). Participants examine various ethical situations along with actual cases that have been addressed in several states. Participants will explore important information about ethics in Kentucky through engaged in and reflect on their own decisions and different levels of risk they are willing to accept. Participants will also complete a series of reflections related to ethical situations that have been reported in the past. Participants will explore: What is Ethics?
